At Black Wolf Candles, we believe that the ambiance of your space plays a vital role in your overall well-being. That’s why we strive to create candles that not only smell divine but also add a touch of elegance to your home decor. Our sleek and minimalist designs, combined with the soft glow of the candlelight, create a serene and inviting atmosphere that invites you to unwind, relax, and indulge in moments of self-care.
The scent of our candles is a pretty big focus for us at Black Wolf. When we light a candle we want to ensure the fragrance creates a subtle ambience suitable for the setting. Our aim is to ensure the “throw” of the scent, that is how far the scent travels, is perfect for the setting. Not all candles are the same. Soy candles tend to have the best scent throw, both hot (when lit) as well as cold. At Black Wolf we pride ourselves on high quality clean burning candles, using only vegan soy wax. Our wicks are either pure cotton or wood. We use fragrance oils as well as essential oils from Australian suppliers.
New additions
Throughout the year and generally with the change of season we will introduce new fragrances and potentially withdraw others that are not often requested.
Spring 2023 – we have a couple for you to try as a limited edition. If they prove popular they will continue.
Paris in Springtime borne from our travels in Europe at the start of the year. Prepare yourself for a floral explosion of jasmine rose & orchid and sweet & fresh addition of bergamot black tea & patchouli. It is light and not overpowering but present and fresh.
Old London again on limited release. A rich combination of rose and jasmine. There are notes of sweet , oily, spicy and balsamic with floral and caramel notes . It’s a scent for all seasons and is warm and sensual.

AUSTRALIAN BUSH
Imagine going for a walk through the Australian bush, with this authentic fragrance with notes of lemon, pine and eucalyptus, you are there!
AUSTRALIAN FLORALS & HONEY
Not unlike the pleasant scent of exotic frangipani, this fragrance is a dense cluster of floral scents with a sweet rose and honey balsam combination. It also includes additional hints of cyclamen, star jasmine and an herbal orchid, green finish.
BERGAMOT & BANKSIA
The very essence of the bush. Living by the coast with the back drop of the Budawangs, Didthul along with Woodburn State Forest and a couple of National Parks, Meroo & Termeil, I wanted a fragrance that paid homage to the area. A fresh citrus and floral fusion with bergamot, grapefruit and lemon peel, combined with banksia, fir needle and cassia bark.
BLACK FIG & GUAVA
A harmonious blend that transports you to a lush tropical paradise. This exquisite scent combines the rich and earthy notes of black fig with the sweet and tropical essence of guava, creating a truly mesmerizing olfactory experience. The top notes of our Black Fig and Guava fragrance are bursting with the succulent and juicy aroma of ripe guava. This tropical fruit brings a delightful sweetness to the scent, instantly uplifting your mood and creating a sense of tropical bliss. BLACK RASPBERRY
A captivatingmscent that combines the sweetness of ripe raspberries with a hint of mysterious darkness. This fragrance is a perfect balance of fruity and sensual notes, creating an irresistible olfactory experience. The top notes of our Black Raspberry fragrance burst with the juicy and vibrant aroma of freshly picked raspberries. The sweet and tangy scent instantly uplifts your senses, evoking memories of summer days and luscious berry fields.
The fruity essence of raspberries brings a refreshing and invigorating quality to the fragrance, setting the stage for a delightful sensory journey. COCONUT AND LIME
An old favourite that never dates. Tropical aroma with addition of verbena its reassuringly refreshing and irresistible.
CRUSHED LIME & SEA SALT
One of our new favourites at Black Wolf. This was inspired by an overseas trip to the UK to see my family. A road trip to Cornwall was also part of my agenda. Fishing towns in Cornwall, where holiday makers visit the seaside and watch the locals go out fishing in the age old fishing boats brought back very special memories. Whilst my sister and I had great fun making new ones. This fragrance is everything that road trip means to me, the seaside encapsulated in a fragrance.
FRESH GINGER AND GREEN TEA
A clean, uplifting aroma with subtle notes of green tea and spicy, pungent notes of ginger, along with other citrus notes of mandarin and grapefruit. Becoming a clear favourite amongst Black Wolf followers.
FRESH SAGE & DRIFTWOOD
A sophisticated masculine infusion of zesty bergamot, sage, amber and cedar wood. Subtle and relaxing. Long term favourite of Black Wolf followers.
GRAPEFRUIT & LIME
A taste of the tropics where balmy nights are highlighted by zesty grapefruit & lemon and mingled with coconut, lime leaf & musk.
JAPANESE HONEYSUCKLE
A soft, sweet and soothing flowering vine. Top notes of mandarin and pine needle, middle grape and neroli with base notes of vanilla, malt, jasmine and cedar wood.
LEMONGRASS & GREEN TEA
Cool, refreshing lemongrass and lemon thyme combined with a hint of ginger and mint.
LIME, BASIL & MANDARIN
A premium fragrance combines fresh, zesty citrus notes of lime and mandarin undertones with notes of basil and herbs. A truly universal fragrance for everyone and every occasion.
LYCHEE & GUAVA
A vibrant, sweet and fresh lychee fruit and mixed berries balanced with a burst of guava sorbet, lime and vanilla. Soft base notes of vanilla and coconut. A warm lazy Sunday afternoon listening to the waves lapping the shore !
MEDITERRANEAN BREEZE
Inspired by a drive through Italy through Portofino, along the Amalfi Coast , encapsulating the feel of coastal roads and ocean views an invigorating blend of wild freesia fresh lime and lavender. Light your candle, close your eyes, relax and imagine the sights and sounds.
ORANGE AND PEACH BLOSSOM
Subtle soft fragrance, fruity yet floral with orange and bergamot with jasmine, peach blossom and musk to complete the scent.
PEAR & CINNAMON
The variety of pear used in this fragrance (Comice Pear) derives its name from the phrase Doyenne du Comice, meaning ‘Top of the show’, as they are often celebrated as the best pear variety. Originating in France, the fragrance is rich, juicy and meltingly smooth. A gentle combination of pear and cinnamon, an amazing fragrance.
PEONY & LYCHEE
A juicy tropical oasis. A fruity-floral combination with the exquisite softness of peony petals and the subtle freshness of lychee fruit .

SWEET OLIVIA
Our daughter asked for a scent that reminded us of her. I present Sweet Olivia. An English cottage garden, soft and gentle, calm and caring, the epitome of sweet and floral elegance, light and airy, carefree and joyful. With notes of peach and honeydew, two of Olivia’s favourite fruits. Redcurrant and sweet pea with a hint of jasmine complete the aromatic scene.
VINTAGE ROSE
The aroma of velvety rose and clean floral peony petals with subtle hints of green tea lavender spike and jasmine. A truly enchanting fragrance light and delicate for endless summer days and evenings where it’s time for a refreshing cocktail or a cup of fresh and calming tea.
